Adobe Cottage Writer’s Retreat Fiction COntest Winner

Chad V. Broughman was the 2017 Adobe Cottage Writer's Retreat Fiction Contest for his coming-of-age literary short story titled “Uriah’s Last Rites.” He spent a week at the writer’s cottage in Placitas, New Mexico with coaching from New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors, Susan Donovan and Darynda Jones.

Chad visited New Mexico in August 2017.  His novel-in-progress is in the grueling stage of revision.
